Our Story
Looking for pizza in Truckee? Come to Zano’s! Create your own custom pizza or sample one of our specialties. We bake pizza for take home or for dining in our restaurant. Take home pizza is offered half-baked if you prefer. In addition to our delicious pizza, we serve incredible pasta, amazing salads and Italian family favorites including veal picatta, hearty lasagna and penne with meatballs.
Our restaurant combines the flavor of Italy with the hospitality of the Sierra Nevada. This is a warm and friendly environment and we would like to keep it that way.
At Zano's, we feel that it is simply a genuine belief in ourselves that sets us apart from the competition.
As you open the door, you are greeted with the smell of garlic and steaming tomatoes from our homemade Bolognese sauce, inviting your taste buds to come alive. If you have arrived at a busy hour and find yourself waiting, please understand we do not want to rush you in and out. As you know, quality takes time, and we will not serve you food less than perfect.
We are a family that loves families which means children are certainly welcome. And if you are alone, don’t worry, we’ll make you feel like a part of the family too! Most of us who work here are pretty young and we’re learning something new every day, so if we make a mistake, sit tight, we promise to fix it. Remember the golden rule with everyone you meet.
